At eleven, An survived an accident that killed his parents and was adopted by Gu Hao Wei, a CEO and friend of the family. Living under the same roof as his crush, Jin, An later overheard an argument about inheriting the company, causing Jin to distance himself and go to school in America. Though An knew why, he felt guilty.
Years later, Jin returns and attends the same university as An. The two continue to clash, with Jin’s jealousy fueling his aggressive behavior toward An, whom he’s secretly loved for years. Jin also avoids confronting An, knowing his father was responsible for the accident that changed their lives.
